Mid-August, Kentucky State Fair
Over a dozen stages featuring all varieties of entertainment, also big name concerts, 28 competitive blue ribbon contests, 9,000 animals, "thrillway" of rides, World Championship Horse Show, special entertainment areas for seniors and children and educational exhibits.
